Macaulay Culkin Is Hitting the Road This Holiday Season With a Special Screening of ‘Home Alone’

Macaulay Culkin is celebrating the holidays with a nod to one of his most famous iconic roles. Kicking off in late November, the former child star will host Home Alone: A Nostalgic Night with Macaulay Culkin, a tour across the country featuring a special screening of the Christmas classic, followed by a moderated interview and Q&A open to the audience.

While announcing the news on the Today show, Carson Daly shared that the interview portion of the event will include Culkin looking back at “his experiences on the set [and] memories,” as well as speaking about “all the things about the movie.”

Culkin hits the road on Nov. 30 in Buffalo, NY, with stops in Kentucky, Indiana, Wisconsin, Ohio, New Jersey, Illinois, Massachusetts and more. Tickets will be available for various presales starting next week, with the general sale beginning on Friday, Sept. 13. There will also be a limited number of VIP tickets available that include postshow photo ops with Culkin.

This isn’t the first time Culkin has revisited his breakout role. In 2015, the actor released a parody titled Just Me in the House By Myself, in which he played an adult version of his Home Alone character, Kevin. This version of Kevin was an unhinged rideshare driver who, after being asked why he ignores calls from his mom, explains his childhood trauma.

“It’s Christmastime, it’s fucking Christmas and your whole family goes on vacation — whole family! — and they forget their eight-year-old fucking son,” he says. “[You’re] all by yourself in the house for a week. I had to fend off my house from two psychopath home invaders. I was just a kid.”

Adult Kevin then says he still has nightmares about “this bald weirdo dude chasing me around.”
