Madame Tussauds "adjusts" that Beyoncé waxwork

From Digital Spy

When Madame Tussauds debuted their latest Beyoncé waxwork, we assume they were expecting the criticism they got.

Fans claimed the waxwork looked more like Lindsay Lohan or Britney Spears, and that it "whitewashed" the star.

A spokesperson for Madame Tussauds previously told Digital Spy:"Lighting within the attraction combined with flash photography may distort and misrepresent the colour of our wax figures, which is something our sculptors are unable to account for at the production stage."

Now it has been reported that the figure was temporarily removed from the New York branch, and has since been reinstated with some changes.

In a statement to The New York Times, a spokesperson said: "We love, respect and enjoy a working relationship with Beyoncé.

"We have adjusted the styling and lighting of her figure and she is on display."

You might think that in 2017, waxwork sculptures would be pretty true to life, but nope – the recent one of Britney Spears looks even more dead behind the eyes than the singer herself did during the Femme Fatale promotional tour.

If you're in the mood for a giggle or want something to terrify your kids with, we've rounded up a further 12 of the greatest waxwork figures, and by greatest we mean the exact opposite of that.
