Watch out Abby Lee Miller- being behind bars won’t keep you safe from Maddie Ziegler! It looks like shade will be seriously thrown in Maddie’s new tell-all book about her rise to stardom, including her time on Dance Moms with Abby Lee Miller. The memoir, called “The Maddie Diaries,” will come out March 7th. According to the book’s bio, Maddie will “answer her fans’ burning questions with wise advice she’s learned on her journey.”
She started the show at 8 years old and now she’s 14, so that’s 6 years of juicy gossip in the book. Maddie may also talk about Abby’s Lee Miller’s legal issues and her old mentor’s diva behavior. Abby’s had meltdowns before going to jail and at one point totally called out her current dancers for not being as good as Maddie. She’d said, “I spent the first 3 years of #Dancemoms fighting so that @maddieziegler would get the solos instead of the ones who couldn’t pick up or couldn’t remember.” Was that Abby trying to give Maddie a compliment? Awkward.
Since Maddie left the show she’s told Seventeen Magazine, “leaving Dance Moms was a hard decision to make, but it was getting too stressful. Now, I feel like I’m so free. I feel like I had so much more pressure on me to be the best in the room.” The book bio says, “Maddie explains the hard work she put into her rise to stardom and how she keeps her balance along the way.”
