Made in Chelsea's Sam opens up on future with Zara following ADHD diagnosis
Made in Chelsea cast member Sam Thompson has discussed his future with girlfriend Zara McDermott.
The reality TV star has recently been diagnosed with ADHD, and his discovery is being chronicled in E4 documentary Sam Thompson: Is This ADHD?
Speaking to The Mirror, Sam said his relationship with the former Love Island star has improved now that he knows about his condition.
"I’d always say we had an incredible relationship but there definitely were things that I could do better. Now that I’m aware of it, the communication is better," he said.

"I’ve always known I want to be with her for the rest of my life, that’s a given. I’m definitely not engaged but I love her to bits. I don’t want to be with anyone else. I asked myself that question a couple of years ago.
"I was 28 at that point, I was like, ‘If I don’t want to be with a girl for the rest of my life, what is the point of that relationship?'"

Looking to the future, Sam said he wanted to have kids and be "the provider", but added it might be a while off.
"[Zara has] got a whole career ahead of her and she’s doing some amazing things. I really want her to do all of the things she wants to do before we settle down."
He also wants to take the time to understand his diagnosis and consider how he can balance that with fatherhood, especially if his children were to have ADHD too.
"I think it’s a huge thing for me. When I’m eventually a parent, I want to be understanding of it.”
