Made In Chelsea Star Spencer Matthews Is Building An Orphanage In Tanzania

I’m A Celebrity winner Vicky Pattison has revealed that Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews has been busy making amends after his unexpectedly early exit from the jungle.

The reality TV star left I’m A Celebrity after just a couple of days following his steroid use admission.

Instead of settling back into his everyday life after being booted out though, Spencer has actually been spending his time volunteering in Africa.

This comes after reports claimed he headed straight to rehab after returning home from Australia.

Explaining more about Spenny’s amazing work in her New magazine column, Vicky wrote: “I still haven’t managed to see Spencer yet because he’s away in Tanzania teaching kids English and building an orphanage.

“He obviously felt really bad about everything, and wanted to get away and give something back.”

The Queen of the Jungle did, however, recently tell Loose Women that the two have been messaging, admitting: “It has been really nice, and we’ve said some really quite soppy things to each other.”

A source previously said Spencer’s team’s priority was making sure he stayed ‘on the straight and narrow’ after the jungle, explaining to The Mirror at the time: “ He has one of the best teams in the business around him and they are having talks about how they can save his career.

“Their main priority is looking after Spencer and making sure he is on the straight and narrow.

“His family are distraught because they didn’t know what was going on. This has come out of the blue.”
