Madonna And Guy Ritchie's Custody Hearing Delayed

Madonna and Guy Ritchie were due to appear in court this week as they continue to battle for custody of their fifteen-year-old son Rocco, however, the hearing has now been postponed for a month.

No reason was given for the delay.

According to TMZ the court case will not be kicking off until March 2nd now, with it being believed that Guy and Madonna may be negotiating privately about what to do with Rocco’s living arrangements.

It was previously reported that Madonna had got a court order to force Rocco to spend Christmas with her in the US, although the teen defied the order and instead spent it in the UK with his dad, his step-mother Jacqui Ainsley, and half-sibings, Rafael, Rivka, and Levi.

It has been claimed that Rocco feels his dad offers a more “loving and stable” home and he got fed up with being on the road for his mum’s Rebel Heart Tour.

Sources have also revealed that Rocco finds Madonna “too controlling”, with Guy agreeing that Madge’s “stern parenting” is “counterproductive” for their son.

An insider dished: “He wants Rocco to have the confidence he lacked growing up and thinks Madonna’s stern parental style is counterproductive.

"The welfare of Rocco is Guy’s priority.”

Guy and Madonna divorced in 2008 and also have an adopted son, ten-year-old David together, with Madonna also being mum to nineteen-year-old Lourdes and nine-year-old Mercy.
