Madonna 'is a movie killer', rages Broadway legend Patti LuPone

‘Les Miserables’ star Patti LuPone has made cruel comments about Madonna and said the star is a ‘s**t’ actress, who is ‘dead behind the eyes’.

The 69-year-old broadway legend appeared on ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’ and took aim at the chart topper, insisting that she should never have been cast in the 1996 movie adaptation of the famous musical ‘Evita’ and claiming the 58-year-old singer couldn’t act ‘her way out of a paper bag’.

She raged: ‘I thought it was a piece of s**t. Madonna is a movie killer, she’s dead behind the eyes, she cannot act her way out of a paper bag, she should not be in film or on stage. She’s a wonderful performer for what she does, but she is not an actress.’

‘Evita’ also starred Antonio Banderas and Madge received fairly positive reviews across the board for her performace as Eva Peron. She was even applauded for ‘exceeding expectations’ and oozing ‘star quality’ by critic Zach Conner. Before ‘Evita’, Madonna starred in the beloved 1992 movie ‘A League Of Their Own’, ‘Body of Evidence’ (1993) and ‘Desperately Seeking Susan’ (1995).

So is Patti simply bearing an old grudge after the pair crossed paths and Madge snubbed her?

‘I did meet her after her opening night party, and the only thing that Madonna has ever said to me was, ‘I’m taller than you.’ Bada bing.’

LuPone then slammed ‘Dance Moms’ star Abby Lee Miller, who coached children on the show for seven seasons and announced she was leaving in March.

Abby was sentenced to a year and a day in prison for bankruptcy fraud and concealing money earned abroad.

LuPone said: ‘She should go to jail for life. Didn’t you find her obnoxious? I found her like, oh I just hated her. She’s, like, the worst dance teacher you ever had when you were a kid. And you just wanted to kill her for hurting kids.’
