Madonna Splits From Boyfriend Brahim Zaibat After Romance 'Ran It's Course'

Madonna and her boyfriend Brahim Zaibat have called time on their romance after three years.

Her rep confirmed the news while a source close to the couple said the relationship had just "run its course".

Speaking to Us Weekly, they added:  "They were dancing and working together all the time and then they barely saw each other."

But another source told showbiz blogger Perez Hilton that Madonna was unimpressed with Zaibat signing up for the French version of Dancing With The Stars.

They said: "M thought that [DWTS] was too cheesy", while another added she felt "used" and there was "no chance" she and Zaibat would get back together.

The couple met in 2010 when he performed at her daughter Lourdes' launch party for her Material Girl fashion line.

He then became her backing dancer on her recent MDNA world tour but this year the pair have seemed to have been going in opposite directions.

They were seen together on the red carpet in May for the PUNK: Chaos To Couture show at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York, their last red carpet appearance together.

And in August, they holidayed together in Paris with Lourdes but last Saturday, Zaibat was seen looking downcast on a trip to the Manhattan Kabbalah Center with the pop star.

But whether they stay friends remains to be seen, although she is on good terms with Carlos Leon, Lourdes' father, and ex-husband Guy Ritchie, father of son Rocco and adopted kids David and Mercy.

She also recently visited Haiti with ex-husband Sean Penn, as part of his ongoing Haiti earthquake relief efforts, and she even took to her Instagram account to post snaps of the trip.
