The good news for MAFS fans is that we will be getting a reunion episode – but as of yet, it's not clear when.

Adam Nightingale and Nathan Campbell, two of the grooms who made it all the way to final vows in the 2024 series, were interviewed on Instagram in late November and let slip that there was another reunion coming, but that it probably wouldn't air until February 2025.

Earlier this year, last season's 2023 cast got a reunion episode that aired on 26 February, so the new episode catching up with the 2024 cast could well be a couple of months off yet.

Of course, the series ends with a reunion dinner party followed by a catch up with the experts which are filmed months after the main series wraps filming, but the later episode gives another chance to find out what the brides and grooms have been up to after the dust settled – and who is still speaking.

However, it's thought that the reunion was actually filmed in late October, meaning any rivalries or romances could be out of date by the time it makes it to air.

Viewers might be disappointed to find that some of their favourites for the cast will not feature in the reunion as some were not asked back, while others are said to not be keen to return.

Caspar Todd is the latest groom to confirm he won't attend, telling his followers in an Instagram Q&A: "No, I wasn't approached about the reunion that will be out in February. I just don't think I caused enough drama and I'm a bit guarded about my opinions and that sort of thing. I just don't think I created enough good content, so they probably said no to me for that reason. When I say good content I mean entertaining content where there's shouting, screaming and glasses being thrown."

Reports suggest that Ross McCarthy refused to attend the reunion after going public with a new relationship, with The Sun claiming that he had been avoiding committing to any new filming.

Luke Debono is not expected to be back either with The Sun reporting that he had not been asked back, despite making it to final vows where he was dumped by Amy Kenyon.

Last year, we were treated to a Christmas episode of MAFS where contestants from previous series got together for a festive dinner and a whole load of new drama.

Fans of the E4 series might have been hoping for something similar to pop up in the Christmas schedules this year, but although we're well into December nothing has been officially confirmed.

However, according to some of the cast, the Christmas reunion is taking place. Polly Sellman has since relocated to Australia, although she did briefly return to the UK for a MAFS party which she posted selfies from on Instagram.

A fan commented to ask her if there would be a Christmas reunion and she replied: "there is yes but I chose not to go, so may be a bit boring," while adding to someone else who asked how long she would be in Australia "indefinitely, hopefully".

It has been rumoured that the cast may be bolstered with some stars from previous series to fill in the gaps of those not able to make it.

There were four couples who made it to final vows - Amy Kenyon dramatically dumped Luke Debono while wearing all black, and Polly Sellman tried to dump Adam Nightingale but the relationship ended how it had played out in a huge row.

Ross McCarthy and Sacha Jones committed to each other, as did Lacey Martin and Nathan Campbell, but both relationships ended shortly after the series finished filming.

McCarthy has since been posting photos with his new girlfriend to Instagram.
