Charlie Curtis
Charlie has looked for love on television before when she starred on Prime Video series Lovestruck High which aired in 2022. Lovestruck High saw 15 people on the quest to find true love in an American high school setting, although the series was actually was filmed in Devon in the UK. There was a $100,000 prize stake too. Hollywood actor Lindsay Lohan, best known for films like Parent Trap and Freaky Friday, narrated the Prime Video series. Charlie didn't find love first time round.
Now on MAFS, the bride is in the only same-sex pairing of the series and at first she's ecstatic. Charlie confessed she thought she had fallen head over heels in love with Eve on their wedding day. However, their romance was already over by the honeymoon with Charlie and Eve locking heads. Charlie told Eve: "I'll be leaving the experiment now. They'll be no moving in together, no apartments, nothing - Goodbye!"
Twins Lacey Martin and Paige
Lacey Martin may be looking for love on Married At First Sight this year but she's no stranger to reality television too. Her twin sister Paige also got a cameo in MAFS and even took centre stage at one point as her bridesmaid in hot pink.
It was a big talking point of the episode too because groom Nathan accidentally mistook Paige for his new bride, telling her "wow" when she walked down the aisle - only for her to sit down by her mum and not join him at the altar. Lacey was fuming later on when she found out about the mistake through her friends.
The twins do seem to be inseparable and even their last appearance on television was together. They starred on ITV2 reality show Dress To Impress. It is a completely different concept to MAFS but there is an element of love.
The show focuses on three fashionistas who are competing on the ultimate shopping trip to go on a blind date. This time though, the focus is on Lacey as she has headed down the aisle to marry Nathan. As her twin, Paige was there to support her sister on her big day.
Of course we expect Paige will make more cameos on MAFS UK during the home stay segments, where the contestants have the chance to introduce their new partners to their family and friends as well as give them a taste of what life could look like after the TV experiment if they chose to leave together.
Sacha Jones
MAFS isn't a TV first for Sacha Jones either. The beauty queen, who was crowned Miss Birmingham in 2018, has already tried her hand at reality TV before when she made appearances on MTV’s Beauty School Cop Outs and later on Beauty and the Geek.
Her first TV appearance goes back to 2013 when she filmed scenes alongside Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffat and Big Brother housemate Jeremy McConnell. While it wasn't a show about dating, she did share a kiss with McConnell. Beauty School Cop Outs gave Sacha her first TV platform and it told the story of four girls - and four boys - who got the opportunity to go to beauty school in Manchester to learn the tricks of the trade.
It was almost a decade later before she would go onto star on Beauty and the Geek, hosted by The Saturdays singer Mollie King and Matt Edmonson. Also a reality series, it followed beautiful women who were paired with intelligent men to compete to win a £50,000 prize.
This year, Sacha has added to her reality TV CV. She joined the MAFS line-up as she marries a stranger in a quest to find love.
