MAFS UK viewers call out 'chilling' habit of groom Alex as clashes continue
The tension between Married at First Sight's latest crop of couples was at an all-time high in tonight's episode (October 28), with viewers witnessing another clash just moments in to the show.
Monday night's episode showed the penultimate commitment ceremony with couples keen to address the cracks in their relationship and make the key decision on whether they will stay with their partner or leave the experiment.
Sacha and Ross were first up in front of the experts with the pair's ongoing feud with Alex looming large as they took to the sofa. Recounting his confrontation with Alex, Ross shared: "I told him about my feelings... it wasn't nice what he said to my wife. I was angry, I'm still angry. All I was asking was a simple thing, to say sorry."

When expert Paul Brunson asked if Ross would be open to returning "to square one", with his former friend, Ross hit back with "No, he can f*** off. He took it too far."
The comment prompted a smile from Alex, with his own wife Holly giving him a look of disgust as she noticed the smirk. "You are actually so embarrassing," she told him, sparking further smiles from her groom.
Defending his actions, Alex said he "felt like I was being attacked, and I attacked back," before adding: "I'm sorry for what I said to Sacha. Whether she accepts it or not, that's another story."
After Sacha rejected his apology, Alex began to chuckle. The act further antagonised Holly, who told him: "Sort your face out, it's knocking me sick. I can't sit next to you," before moving away from her groom.
The behaviour of Alex during the ceremony had viewers talking. Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer called out the "chilling" habit of the MAFS UK star.
"That laughing when Alex has got someone annoyed is quite chilling," they wrote, referencing the groom's tendency to smile and laugh when involved in a tense scenario. "OMGGGGGG Alex's smirky grin is vile," wrote another irked viewer. A third added: "Alex is so belittling its infuriating to watch."
