MAFS UK's Jay Howard shares moment she thought would be cut from main show
Married at First Sight UK cast member Jay Howard has revealed the moment she was surprised to see make the show's final edit.
The reality TV star appeared on season 8 of the hit dating series, matched with now ex-partner Luke Worley. An altercation between Luke and co-star Jordan Gayle led to the couple deciding to withdraw from last year's experiment early together. The two then parted ways "amicably" a little while later.
In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy, Jay shared how she was shocked that certain moments ended up being aired to viewers.

"From the main show, yes, some bits were quite surprising," she tells us. "It's just because you're filming that much, it's not like you forget about what you say but because there's so much content that they've got to go through, when you're watching it back, you're like, 'Oh yeah, I forgot I said that at that point'."
Reflecting on the scene she was most surprised to see make it into the show, Jay replied: "I think it was the fight between Jordan and Luke.
"Originally, I didn't think that they'd actually show that, but they did. They didn't show the whole thing but they showed what they needed to. That's probably the most shocking bit."

Jay thought the scene in question would not air due to changing circumstances and attitudes towards shows. "Especially with reality TV, I didn't know that you could show things like that, due to like rules and regulations and stuff," she added. "No other reason."
Whilst her ex-partner Luke didn't appear in this week's reunion show, Jay admitted that there are "no bad vibes" between the couple, with her wishing him nothing but the best.
Despite being together at the MAFS reunion, Jordan Gayle and Erica Roberts confirmed their split this week following the episode's transmission. Both parties have denied any wrongdoing behind the break-up.
