MAFS UK's Jenna responds to Thomas' "so-called" apology

Married at First Sight UK star Jenna Robinson has responded to Thomas Hartley’s “so-called” apology, deeming it another “stab in the back.”

The latter made numerous remarks about several of his co-stars on Cool FM’s What’s Happenin’ podcast, including a ‘joke’ about Jenna’s late father.

He has since apologised for his comments, saying he “completely regrets” and “takes full responsibility” for the situation, saying he “will live eternally with regret.”

Jenna, who is still together with partner Zoe Clifton, criticised Thomas in her Instagram Story, saying his apology wasn’t genuine.

“Thank you to those of you who have reached out to check in on me. It really means a lot. Honestly I'm struggling a little with what I've heard,” she wrote. (via The Mirror).

“And although for them it's a laughable joke at my expense, I'm now having to deal with the aftermath of my family potentially hearing what I've heard and I'm trying my best to prevent that from happening.

“As for the so called public 'apology' it's yet another stab in the back. Not an ounce of remorse or respect and just to add I've had no personal apology either,” concluded Jenna.

It is understood that Jenna’s father passed away during the COVID-19 pandemic, meaning he never got to see his daughter find love with Zoe.

They were the only couple on this year’s series who were still together by the finale, and they are still going strong now.

After arriving at the first reunion dinner locked in arms, Jenna revealed the work they’d put in to make sure their relationship succeeded.

“Since leaving the experiment, me and Zoe have really made an effort with each other,” she said in front of the camera. “We've made time for each other, even though we both have really busy lives.”
