'Magical' Cloud Formation Rolls Over Australian Mountain in Timelapse

A spectacular cloud formation rolled over Bluff Knoll peak in Western Australia’s Stirling Range, as captured in stunning footage taken on May 21.

Video shot by Jigar Gosrani shows a “reverse cloud waterfall,” which he filmed shortly after sunrise.

The cloud formation “condensed into silky thin strings of cotton candy as it made its way off the rounded edge toward freedom on the other side of the mountain,” wrote Gosrani in the video’s caption, describing his experience witnessing this “magical” occurrence. Credit: Jigar Gosrani via Storyful
