Magical festive lantern parade will light up Devon town
Exmouth Winter Festival is returning with a magical lantern parade to light up the town and start the countdown to Christmas. Organisers say it will be a "joyful celebration of light" - this year themed around "polar magic".
The Strand will have entertainment from walkabout performers and choirs before the lantern parade - all culminating in the switching on of the lights on the town square Christmas tree.
The lantern parade will start from Holy Trinity Church, proceeding through the town centre to the Strand, featuring hand made lanterns and led by the sounds of the Little Big Horns. Exmouth's mayor will then switch on the lights.
