New magical Kent Christmas grotto where you can meet Santa, make reindeer food and decorate a bauble

Parents get ready for even more Christmas festivity at Margate’s Dreamland, with the brand-new Magical Festive Grotto. In the Magical Grotto, children will help Santa’s elves prepare for Christmas, ending with a jolly Santa meet and greet.

This exciting new Christmas experience will be available alongside Dreamland’s Christmas World dates, on December 14 and 15 and between December 19-23.

As children travel through Santa’s Grotto, they will experience a brief day in the life of Santa’s elves. Children will be able to make tasty reindeer food and help the elves decorate baubles, all to take home as special gifts.

Walking through the Festive Grotto, children will be looking forward to the highlight - meeting Santa. Christmas spirits high, children will receive a gift from Santa. Inside will be a delightful teddy and a special Christmas storybook.

Parents can combine this experience with a Christmas-themed fun day out by purchasing the Ultimate Christmas World Package. The package includes the new Magical Festive Grotto experience, a photo with Santa, a ticket for the roller rink snowball fight, a festive snack box, and a chance for parents to share in the fun with their children on the electric sleigh ride.

The new addition at Dreamland is a chance for children to embrace the Christmas spirit, help elves, and build excitement for Christmas day.

Sunday December 15, Thursday December 19 - Monday December 23.

Prices

Magical Festive Grotto starting price for general admission from £24.47. For the Ultimate Christmas World Package prices start from £43.41. However, prices may vary by date and time.

The Magical Festive Grotto and Ultimate Christmas World Package options include one adult free of charge with every paying child ticket.

By car: Links to the M20 and M2 motorways from London.

By train: Direct service between London Victoria and Margate. The station is a 5min walk to Dreamland’s main entrance.
