Magical Trago Mills Christmas train ride is back for 2024

The North Pole Express is back this year to bring festive fun to Trago Mills Steam Railway. Leaving from Riverside Station, visitors will travel to Trago Central Station.

There they will alight to join the Trago Mills Model Railway. Adults will receive a complimentary hot drink, and children a soft drink, from the Staplehill Servery.

Trago Mills Steam Railway said in a release: "Board our magical steam train from Riverside Station as we take you on a journey to Santa's Grotto, where you and your family will meet Santa and his elves. Everyone will be given the opportunity to tell Santa exactly what they want for Christmas, and all the children will receive an early gift from Santa too (if they've been good)!!

Tickets are £3 for adults and £5 for children and include the model railway fee. Tickets may only be purchased on the day from Riverside Station - in the main front car park - by card or contactless.

The Santa Express will run November 16-17, and then every day from November 23 - December 22. Trains leave Riverside Station from 11am and the queue will be closed from 4pm.

Individual adjustments can be made on services on any day, e.g. no music, strobing, etc~ please speak to a member of staff on the day.
