A "major maintenance" scheme on the A55 is set to start today. Welsh Government is resurfacing the dual carriageway between Junction 11 at Llandygai and Junction 10 Caernarfon Road, Bangor.

The project is being done in the westbound carriageway. The work is expected to take until October 11 to complete.

During the works - described as "major maintenance" - there will be daytime lane closures in the westbound carriageway. There will also be complete carriageway closures overnight with a diversion in place around the roadworks.
