Major emergency response to Llandudno seafront incident as man arrested

These dramatic pictures show emergency crews dealing with an incident in a North Wales seaside town. Police and fire crews were called to the scene near Llandudno Promenade on Thursday night.

In one of the images a firefighter from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service is shown approaching a hotel on a ladder. They were at the scene for several hours.

In other photos firefighters are on the ground as the incident is dealt with. North Wales Police said they were responding to a report about a concern for someone's safety and made one arrest.

This afternoon a North Wales Police spokesman said: "Officers attended a concern for safety incident at 11.33pm last night (Thursday) at a commercial property on St George’s Crescent, Llandudno. A 34 year old local man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of breaching the terms of a Domestic Violence Prevention Notice."
