Major energy firm with six million customers cuts electricity bills to £0

A major energy firm with 5.6million customers is giving thousands FREE electricity on Halloween. As we head closer towards Christmas, E.ON Next, which serves 5.6 million customers in the UK, is offering selected customers free electricity this Halloween.

EON is emailing chosen customers. Customers who download the E.ON Next app can receive a £5 credit on their electricity bill for Halloween. The email sent to participants reads: "No tricks this Halloween, just a treat on us. Here's a scarily good deal!

"Get a day's worth of free electricity on us, just by following three simple steps." A £5 bill credit will be applied regardless of your actual energy usage during the reward period within 28 days. The £5 credit provided in this offer is equivalent to or can exceed the average daily cost of electricity in the UK.

Between 1 October to 31 December 2024 the energy price cap is set at £1,717 per year for a typical household on an Standard Variable Tariff, who use electricity and gas and pay by Direct Debit. This means that the £5 credit could cover one day of electricity usage for an average household in the UK.

This offer is available only to existing E.ON Next customers who have received the promotional email. Customers with Pay As You Go (PAYG) meters are not eligible for this offer. Single gas customers are excluded from this offer. The offer consists of a £5 bill credit, equivalent to or exceeding the average daily cost of electricity in the UK.

The offer period is from October 31, 2024, to November 1, 2024. To claim the offer, eligible customers must: a) Download the E.ON Next app b) Log into their account on the app c) Claim the free energy day reward (£5 bill credit) between October 23rd, 2024, 10:00 AM and October 25th, 2024, 10:00 AM.

The £5 bill credit will be applied within 28 days of November 1, 2024.
