Major Incident Declared in Norfolk Following Flash Flooding

A major incident was declared in parts of Norfolk, England, after heavy rain caused flash flooding on December 23 and 24, local media reported.

The Eastern Daily Press reported parts of South Norfolk and the Broads saw a month’s worth of rain fall in just 24 hours on Wednesday, December 23.

The resulting flash flooding damaged home and forced families left in hotels overnight, they said.
