Just because Avengers: Infinity War has pulled together every major character in the Marvel universe in one movie, it doesn't mean that the as-yet-untitled Avengers 4 can't draft in a few surprise guests of its own.

Case in point: remember Harley Keener?

Yes, according to IMDb, Iron Man 3 actor Ty Simpkins is set to reprise his role as the science-savvy kid who helped Tony Stark when he was stranded in Tennessee.

Only, as that film was released in 2013, Simpkins is now 16 years old and looking a little more like this:

How Harley will fit into the film remains to be seen, and will probably depend on where we leave Iron Man at the end of Infinity War too.

But with a recent casting call for the movie hinting that a major character could be killed off, fans are already speculating that Harley could return as part of a funeral for Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) before taking on the Iron Man mantle for himself.

Of course, Marvel hasn't confirmed the casting yet and it's unlikely we'll get any firm details for a while yet – after all, we still have Thor: Ragnarok, Ant-Man and the Wasp and the flashback movie Captain Marvel to get through before we can even think about what comes after Infinity War.
