Is a major Thrones character coming back for season 8?

From Digital Spy

The first season of Game of Thrones featured the tragic demise of Ned Stark – but we're not here to discuss "poor old dead Ned".

Nope, because the first season also killed off the brilliant and quotable King Robert Baratheon, played by Mark Addy.

Who has been in Belfast for the wrap party of Game of Thrones...

Which could mean that he comes back to life in the final season. Or it could mean that he wanted to be there for the wrap party with his co-stars.

Jason Momoa, whose character Khal Drogo also died in season one of the show, posted an album of snaps to Instagram featuring several cast members including Emilia Clarke and Kit Harington.

He wrote: "I'm so grateful to be a part of the greatest show on earth. I'm honoured to be able to come to Ireland and celebrate with my friends. I'm just here for kisses and hugs… Mahalo David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss] you are legends. Congrats to the talented crew and cast."

Other Thrones stars seen in the photos are Peter Dinklage, who plays Tyrion Lannister, Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark) and John Bradley, who plays Samwell Tarly.

And it wasn't just Momoa sharing pictures of Addy, with fans hopeful for a King Robert return:
