Major West Yorkshire bus shake-up as routes to be changed
A major shakeup is on its way to West Yorkshire's bus network as a number of routes are to be changed across Leeds and Bradford.
First Bus has announced bus timetables will change from October 27 onwards, with a number of different services facing change. According to the bus company, these changes are designed to "improve the reliability" of services in the region.
These service changes will take place in Leeds and Bradford, and will see a number of timetables changed, as well as some stops removed.

If you take the bus, its important to stay informed about these changes, as they are widespread and many affect your journeys. Here are all the changes to bus services coming in October.
Bradford
608 - The 608 service will have a revised timetable on all days to improve its reliability
612, 613, 614 - These services will see the removal of the Five Lane Ends Morrisons stop after 9pm and the Sunday service will be slightly retimed
622, 626 - Revised timetable on all days
633 - Monday to Saturday early morning and early evening services will be retimed to better coordinate with TLC services
640, 641 - Five Lane Ends Morrisons stop removed after 9pm
X6 - Additional stop at Little Germany X in Bradford City Centre

Leeds
15 - Reduced from every 30 minutes to every 60 minutes before 7am and after 6pm, Monday to Friday
42 - Revised timetable on all days
56 - Revised timetable on all days
22 - Replaces 1B and no longer runs to Beeston. Service extends to and from Infirmary Street/Park Row and Leeds Bus Station
23 - Replaces the 6, all timetables retimed
24 - Replaces the 1/8/N1 (Beeston - City - Headingley - Holt Park), runs 24 hours between City and Headingley with improved weekend frequency
25/26 - Two new services to replace X84 to improve coordination with services along Headingley Line. Will operate between Leeds, Otley and Ilkley, with 25 going through Pool-in-Wharfedale
27 - Retimed with earlier journeys. Evening service reintroduced Monday to Friday and Sunday. Route change at Guiseley to connect to 33 at Guiseley Morrisons
26 - Rerouted in the City by Leeds Railway Station. Retimed.
22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28 - Retimed for consistent headway between Albion Street and Headingley. Buses to run every 3-4 mins Monday to Friday, every 5 mins Saturday, every 7-8 mins Sunday, every 7-10 mins in the evening.
33 - Timetable changes and will no longer run beyond Guiseley Morrisons, at which point it will change to 27
34 - Sunday daytime service 34 reduced from two buses an hour to one an hour
