Major windfall as people from Notts scoop £900,000 in Premium Bond win
The winners of the latest Premium Bonds have been drawn, with 44 lucky winners across Nottinghamshire winning a combined prize total of £960,000. A few lucky Nottinghamshire residents have just won tens of thousands of pounds in Premiums Bonds, with three people securing over £100,000.
In the December draw, 44 winners were announced, with three winning the six-figure prize, five people winning £50,000, nine winning £25,000, and ten residents winning £10,000. New research by CS2 Experts, showed that the average holding o the Premium bonds was £35,008. The prize draws are conducted every month with some winners taking home prizes of up to £1,000,000.
On a national level, the luckiest region recorded in the last draw has been revealed as Liverpool and Merseyside, with winners receiving over £1,545,000. Over £ 42,910,000 was won in total for the December draw, including two people who received the largest prize of one million pounds.
Speaking on the findings, Corey Sims, a spokesperson for CSDB.gg said: “With many people heading into the new year worried about finances, investing in Premium Bonds has alleviated these concerns for many families across the nation. Not only do they provide a unique opportunity for people to increase their savings without risking their initial investment, but also the chance to win large jackpots which can be life-changing.”
