Majorca day by day weather forecast as UK tourists slapped with ‘extreme’ warning

Majorca is set to heat up alongside the rest of Europe this week - after an exceptional weather moment. An amber weather alert for the Spanish island was issued earlier this week after a meteo-tsunami took place.

Shocking scenes unfolded as the sea level surged and inundated parts of Puerto Alcudia on the island's northeast, catching holidaymakers off guard. Authorities raised an amber alert for the Balearic island on Tuesday in anticipation of severe weather conditions.

Thankfully it has calmed down since, but it has put focus on Majorca weather - not least for the thousands of Brits who will be holidaying in the Balearic islands this summer.

Despite the extreme weather warning, the forecast for Majorca is not unusually hot at the start of this week. It kicks off cloudy, with temperatures sometimes dipping below 20C.

However, as Europe heats up towards the end of the week, Majorca can expect the same, according to the Met Office. The day-by-day forecast below shows it will peak on Wednesday, not unlike the UK.
