Majority of Arsenal fans would rather keep Arsene Wenger than Mesut Ozil, survey shows

With Arsenal fans are braced for a defining summer this year, we decided to pose them a question…

Of Arsene Wenger, Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, who can the club least afford to lose?

Over 12,500 readers have voted in our online poll over the past month, and the support for the Chilean has been unanimous.

So far, Sanchez has clocked up 72 per cent of the vote, with manager Wenger receiving 20 per cent, and just eight per cent for Ozil.

The trio both face uncertain futures at the Emirates, with Wenger’s contract set to expire this summer, while both Sanchez and Ozil have until 2018.

As revealed by Standard Sport last week, Arsenal have offered Sanchez a new mega-money deal worth £300,000 a week that would make the 28-year-old the highest paid player in the Premier League.

Ozil has insisted his future will be decided at the end of the season, while Wenger faces the fiercest criticism of his managerial career.

But if you disagree with how the poll is going there’s still time to make a difference. Vote below before it closes at the end of the month.
