Malaysian recycler transforms ocean-bound plastic

Hoards of ocean-bound plastic

will soon be nifty furniture

Volunteers scour Malaysia's beaches

for discarded plastic waste

that can be turned into pellets

and used to make a range of products

like appliances, packaging, and furnishings

with the help of a recycling plant

One company buying the plastic pellets

is making chairs from the recycled material

to be used in restaurants and hotels
