Many women might have imagined that the sex robot craze would be a male thing – and no right-thinking female would choose a plastic doll for a lover.
But the creators of a popular sex robot for men are now working on a version for women – a stereotypically hunky plastic man who looks a little like Action Man.
The plastic creature will ship this year and will offer a ‘bionic penis’, its creators have promised, working via a paired smartphone app.

Matt McMullen of RealDoll said that the company’s currently tweaking the sexbot’s voice and personality – and says that users will be able to choose any penis size that suits them.
‘We’re working on a male version of the robot AI,’ McMullen told the Daily Star. ‘We’ll eventually have a male and a female platform available.’
David Levy, author of Love and Sex With Robots, told Yahoo News, ‘I feel certain that eventually women will be turned on at least as men by sex robots.
‘The huge sales of vibrators prove that women in general are very happy to achieve orgasm by way of electronics.’
