Former Rangers loanee Malik Tillman is said to be of interest to Juventus - despite only sealing a permanent switch to PSV Eindhoven four months ago.

The USA international initially arrived in Eindhoven on a season-long loan deal from Bayern Munich last year, but joined the club on a permanent basis back in May in a deal worth €12million (£10.1million) with Bavarian giants Bayern having a €35 million (£29.5million) buy-back clause after helping PSV win the Eredivisie title. Tillman had previously spent the 2022/23 campaign on loan at Rangers where he scored 12 goals in 42 matches.

The Gers were keen on making Tillman's stay a long-term one but could not drum up the £5million fee needed to sign him outright. But due to a 10 per cent sell clause inserted into the deal that took him to Ibrox, the Light Blues banked around £1.2million after PSV activated their option to sign the player permanently.

And now according to Tuttosport, Serie A powerhouses Juve are eyeing up a January swoop for the 22-year-old. The Turin club already have USA stars Weston McKennie and one-time Celtic loanee Timothy Weah among their ranks, and the report claims that new boss Thiago Motta wants to bolster his options in attacking areas by moving for Tillman.

Tillman - who picked up a Bundesliga winner's medal with Bayern in 2022 - has won 13 caps for his country and was a part of the USA side that clinched the CONCACAF Nations League earlier this year. Juve are also believed to be keeping tabs on Tillman's teammate at club and international level Ricardo Pepi as well as Lille's Canadian forward Jonathan David, who is into the final 12 months of his contract in France.
