Man in his 20s seriously injured after being knocked down near Leeds pub
A man in his 20s suffered head injuries when he was hit by a car in Kippax, near Leeds.
The man was crossing the road near the Old Tree Inn on High Street when he was hit by a red Honda Jazz last night at around 9.24pm. Police are appealing for witnesses.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "The Eastern Area Roads Policing Unit would like to speak to anyone who has information about or footage of the collision which took place at about 9.24pm near to the Old Tree Inn on High Street, Kippax on Friday September 27th."

Police said a man his 20s was crossing the road when the collision, which involved a red Honda Jazz, occurred. The car stopped at the scene and emergency services attended. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to serious head injuries.
Anyone who saw the incident, the car involved beforehand, or has information or footage is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 101 referencing log 1799 of September 27th
