Man, 26, fighting for his life after Doncaster crash

A man is fighting for his life following a crash between a motorbike and car in Doncaster.

The 26-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries following the collision on Saturday afternoon.

South Yorkshire Police are appealing for information about the crash, which happened on Broomhouse Lane, in Edlington.

In statement, a force spokesperson said: "Police were called at 1.39pm on Saturday, June 22 to reports of a collision involving a blue Suzuki GSXR bike and a black Kia Sportage, at the junction of Broomhouse Lane and Bernard Road.

"A 26-year-old man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries."

Police are now appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who may have dashcam footage to come forward.
