Man, 64, charged after report of indecent exposure at Aberdeen playpark

A 64-year-old man has been arrested and charged by police following a report of an assault and indecent exposure at a children's playpark in Aberdeen.

Police were informed of the incident having occurred at around 4.45pm on Thursday, September 26 in the Sumburgh Crescent area near Sheddocksley Community Centre.

Officers confirmed a 64-year-old had been arrested and that a report would be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

He is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, September 30.

A Police statement read: "A 64-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a report of an assault and an indecent exposure in Aberdeen.

"The incident happened around 4.45pm on Thursday, 26 September, 2024 at a play park in Sumburgh Crescent. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.

"He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, 30 September, 2024."
