Man in his 70s suffers 'potentially life-changing' injuries in HGV crash
A man in his 70s suffered "potentially life-changing" injuries in a crash with a HGV near the Surrey border. Police said the pedestrian was involved in a collision with a vehicle transporting cars.
It happened on Thursday, January 2 when a an HGV transporting cars was manoeuvring at A1 Metal Recycling, off Highlands Avenue in Wokingham. The incident took place at around 2.50pm.
Thames Valley Police said the pedestrian sustained serious injuries. He is still being treated in hospital.

A 44-year-old man from Windsor was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and driving whilst over the specified drug limit. He has been released on bail.
