Man in his 90s rushed to hospital after being hit by car
A man in his 90s was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car.
Police and paramedics were called to Kelbrook Road in Barnoldswick following reports of a road traffic collision. The incident happened at 8.45am on Thursday (November 28).
Lancashire Constabulary officers found that a Hyundai i30 had been in collision with the elderly pedestrian in the carriageway. He suffered facial injuries and was taken to hospital.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. The road was closed for a time while collision investigation work was carried out.
It has since reopened. Police are now appealing for anyone with information and footage to come forward.
