Man added to Crimestoppers 'most wanted' list after Scots train station sexual assault
A man has been added to Crimestoppers “most wanted” list following a sexual assault at a Scottish train station. Transport cops are hunting a man, aged between 25-30, after an attack on a woman at Thornliebank train station, East Renfrewshire, on May 1.
Crimestoppers were called in to help after previous efforts to trace the man by the British Transport Police failed. He is described as Middle Eastern, slim, with short black hair, was wearing a dark navy tracksuit with a white and light blue pattern on the chest and two light blue stripes down the side of his bottms, and wearing a pair of grey/brown trainers.
Crimestoppers are keen to trace the man in an effort to progress their enquiry. A statement said: “Detectives from British Transport Police are continuing efforts to identify a male who may be able to assist with an ongoing investigation. The incident in question involves the assault of a female that occurred on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Thornliebank Railway Station, Glasgow.
