Man airlifted to hospital after falling from height in Weymouth
A MAN from Weymouth had to be airlifted to hospital after he was reported to have fallen from height.
The incident reportedly took place in the Lanehouse area of Weymouth.
Two land ambulance crews attended the scene as well as an air ambulance from Devon.
The patient was taken by Devon air ambulance to Southampton General Hospital for treatment
A statement from South West Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 15.11hrs on Friday 27 January to an incident in Weymouth. We sent two double-crewed land ambulances and an air ambulance.
"We conveyed one patient to Southampton General Hospital by air ambulance.”
A following statement from Devon Air Ambulance added: "We were called to attend an incident in Weymouth on Friday, January 27 at 15:11 where a male patient was reported to have suffered a fall from height.
"Our Exeter-based helicopter responded to assist the patient on scene and we later conveyed him to Southampton General Hospital to receive further treatment."
