Man to appear in court in connection with Mid-Ulster robbery spree

A man is to appear in court charged with a number of offences after being arrested in connection with a robbery spree in the Mid-Ulster area.

A 32-year-old man will appear at Enniskillen Magistrates Court on Monday, February 3, after being charged with three counts of robbery, taking conveyance without authority and common assault.

It comes after three different shops in the Ballyronan, Coagh and Clonoe areas on Thursday, January 30.

It was reportd that staff at the three shops were left badly shaken after being threatened by armed masked men.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "A 32 year old man has been charged with three counts of robbery, taking conveyance without authority and common assault.

"He is due to appear at Enniskillen Magistrates Court on Monday 3rd February. As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service."
