A man has been arrested after a police officer was injured in a hit-and-run.
The officer was left with leg injuries after he was hit in an incident on Dartmouth Park Hill, London on Thursday afternoon.
The Met Police said officers were called to the area just before 3pm where the officer, who had been standing next to a stationery police vehicle at the time, had been hit.
The police vehicle was also damaged in the collision, but the driver did not stop at the scene, police said.
The injured officer was taken to hospital by ambulance. His injuries are not life-threatening and he has since been discharged from hospital.
The force said a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
He was arrested at an address in the Archway area on Saturday (17 April) and remained in custody on Sunday.
