Teenager arrested after stolen BMW found having a tyre change
A car that was stolen overnight during a burglary in Burnley was spotted having a tyre change in Accrington this morning.
Police found the stolen BMW in Paxton Street, Accrington, at 11.55am today (September 23) and said the owner is happy with the recovery of his car.
A 15-year-old from Great Harwood was arrested on suspicion of burglary and officers are still looking for the other person who got away.
Police are in possession of 'excellent' CCTV footage to help identify the person who was involved in the burglary in Hapton, Burnley, overnight.

A spokesperson for the road police said: “Vehicle stolen overnight from a Burglary in the East of the county was spotted in Accrington having a tyre changed by the eagle eyed HZ33 and his pooches.
“One male detained with it with one outstanding but with excellent CCTV for future enquiries.”
