Man arrested on suspicion of murder after woman found dead
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead. North West Ambulance Service informed Merseyside Police at around 2.25am on Monday, November 18 that a woman was found at an address on Walton Village, Walton.
The woman, believed to be in her 30s, was pronounced dead a short time later. A 47-year-old man from Walton was arrested on suspicion of murder and has been taken to a police station for questioning.
Detective Chief Inspector Andy McCourt said: "This are the early stages of our investigation and we are looking to establish the circumstances into what we are treating as an unexplained death at the current time.
