Man attacked by gang after he walked home from pub
A man was attacked by a gang as he walked home from a pub. Merseyside Police received a report that at around 11.40pm on Friday, September 13, a 19-year-old man returned home after drinking at The Towers Pub in Liscard.
Shortly after, at 12.05am on Saturday, September 14, three men who are believed to have followed him from the pub arrived at his home and attacked the victim, repeatedly punching and kicking him, leaving him with lacerations to the head.
Following the incident, a 19-year-old man from Liscard was arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent. He has been bailed as the investigation continues.

Detectives have issued CCTV images of two men who they would like to come forward as it is believed they may have information that could assist their enquiries, police said.
Detective Constable Andy Laverick said: "The victim in this case required significant treatment in hospital for the injuries he sustained during this attack. We are keen to hear from anyone who may recognise the men pictured as we believe they could hold information that will help our understanding of what took place.
