Fan banned from Oxford United games for three years
Following a Thames Valley police investigation, a man has been sentenced for a public order offence in Oxford.
Lewis Fenwick, aged 25, of Pegasus Road, Oxford, was given a three-year football banning order after pleading guilty to a section 5 public order offence at Oxford Magistrates Court yesterday.
The banning order prevents Fenwick attending Oxford United games, at home or away, for three years.

Fenwick tried to assault another fan during the Oxford United match against Ipswich Town on March 19 earlier this year at the Kassam Stadium.
Dedicated Football Officer, PC Steve Mountain, said: “I welcome the court imposing this banning order on Fenwick following his actions in March.
“Football matches should be a safe place for all people and Thames Valley Police will always deal with incidents at football matches seriously and apply for Football Banning Orders where appropriate.”
