Man banned from shop after what he did to woman
A man spat at a woman's chest as she rang the police after he was told to leave a shop. Atar Dafa visited a convenience store on Winwick Road in Warrington.
Appearing in court, it was heard how he'd entered the shop on May 26 of this year before being approached by a female member of staff and asked to leave due to him being banned after a previous incident. When he was refused further entry into the store, he became irate and verbally abusive to the employee, calling her derogatory names, at which point she began to phone the police.
While on the phone to the call handler, the shop worker tried to distance herself from the 52-year-old but he continued to aggressively walk towards her before spitting at her, which hit her on the chest. He then left the shop before quickly returning and hurling verbal abuse at her. He also spat in her direction.

The incident was captured on CCTV and police officers arrested Dafa, of Padgate Lane, Warrington, at his home address on suspicion of section 39 assault. He denied spitting in her face but was subsequently charged and appeared in Warrington Magistrates' Court on Friday, November 22, where he was found guilty of the offence.
He was handed a two-year restraining order preventing him from contacting the victim and entering the store on Winwick Road. The 52-year-old was also prohibited from entering the Longford Street area of Warrington.
Police Constable Aidan Lever, of Warrington LPU, said: "No one should go to their place of work and be subjected to abuse of any kind. I do hope that with the issuing of this restraining order against Dafa, the victim in this case can begin to move past this incident and continue working without fear of harassment.
