Man charged with kidnap after arrest at Manchester Airport
A man has been charged with kidnap, robbery and drugs offences. Police said this was in relation to the alleged kidnap and robbery of a man in Runcorn on Thursday, September 29 2022.
Joseph Waters was arrested at Manchester Airport on Tuesday, January 21 by officers from Cheshire Police. The 28-year-old has since been charged with kidnap, robbery, possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs (cocaine and Ketamine) and being concerned in the supply Class A and B drugs (cocaine and Ketamine).
The drugs charges relate to the search of an address in Liverpool on Saturday, October 1 2022. Waters, of Abbeyvale Drive in Belle Vale appeared at Warrington Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, January 21 where he was remanded in custody. He is next set to appear at Warrington Crown Court on Tuesday, February 18.
