A man has been charged with murder after a 27-year-old was stabbed to death after a brawl at a birthday party in Whitechapel.

Randy Skuse was at a 25th birthday celebration when an argument flared and two groups reportedly clashed over a spilt drink on November 23.

Factory supervisor Mr Skuse had been laughing and joking minutes before he was stabbed at about at 8.45am, witnesses said.

His family has since described him as an "innocent soul" who had been acting as a "peacemaker" when he was killed in the flat.

Nearly two weeks after Mr Skuse was stabbed to death, Scotland Yard has charged a 26-year-old man with murder and three counts of wounding with intent.

He will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates' Court on Friday.

Abi was arrested in Ipswich on Tuesday after an investigation by homicide detectives from Specialist Crime.

Seven men were arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.

Four have since been released with no further action, while three - aged 29, 23 and 24 - have been bailed pending further enquiries.
