Man charged with making threats to kill after 'gun' found
A man has been charged with domestic abuse and firearms offences. It followed a report of a domestic incident at a property on Stanley Road in Bootle at around 1.30pm on Sunday, September 15.
Police said a gun was found, which they initially believed to be a blank-firing handgun. A man and woman were arrested on suspicion of several offences.
In an update today, Monday, September 16, a spokesperson for Merseyside Police said Scott Berry, 32, of no fixed abode, has now been charged with the following offences: two counts of threats to kill, three counts of assault by beating, possession an offensive weapon in private and possession an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.

Berry has been remanded in custody to appear in Liverpool Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, September 17. The woman arrested has been conditionally bailed pending further enquiries.
