Man City put together 'detailed dossier' on Nottingham Forest's crown jewel
Manchester City are tracking the progress of Morgan Gibbs-White as the 24-year-old’s Nottingham Forest career seems to have kicked on.
Gibbs-White has played all but nine minutes of the Reds’ Premier League campaign so far, coming off late in the 1-0 victory over Liverpool on Saturday. He scored the only goal in the 1-0 win against Southampton at the start of the season and while Nuno Espirito Santo rotates most of his attacking players, the captain is the main man in the final third.
That faith and Gibbs-White’s improvement has seen the former Wolves man given his first England cap by interim boss Lee Carsley, a quarter of an hour in Dublin against Ireland.

It has also led him to be connected with some of the biggest names in the Premier League and while Forest consider securing his services by offering him an improved contract, City are also considering his future.
That’s according to HITC who say they are ‘keeping close tabs on Gibbs-White and have been compiling a detailed dossier’.
Gibbs-White came through at Wolves, under Nuno, before he moved to the City Ground for a reported £25million plus add-ons. Since then he has made 84 appearances, scored 12 goals and added 18 assists. He has also had spells on loan with Swansea and Sheffield United.
