Man Claims Small Victory for His Mobility After Suffering From a Stroke

A man in North Little Rock, Arkansas, who is recovering after suffering a stroke as he battles pancreatic cancer, is showing that nothing will bring him down.

Halen Rath shared this video, taken by her mother, of her grandfather Tony Ross hitting a ball with a paddle after suffering a stroke which greatly limited his mobility. Ross is also battling stage four pancreatic cancer.

“My grandpa was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in June. Sadly, a few days ago he suffered a severe stroke, resulting in major deficits to the right side of his body,” she tweeted, “My mom just sent me this video from his rehab facility and I thought I’d share this little victory.” Ross can be seen holding a pickleball paddle with his left hand and hitting a ball back and forth as someone tosses it to him.
