Man concussed after being punched repeatedly at takeaway in Burnham-on-Sea
A man suffered a concussion after being punched repeatedly at a takeaway in Burnham-on-Sea. Investigating officers from Avon and Somerset Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify in connection with the assault.
Police said the victim, 53, was attacked at the takeaway on South Road at around 9.30pm on Saturday, September 28. He is now undergoing further medical assessments by eye specialists.
The man in the CCTV image is described as white, in his thirties or forties, of muscular build, with short dark hair. He was was wearing a dark t-shirt with the letters ‘NY’ in white on the front, blue jeans and black trainers. He has a sleeve tattoo on his left arm.

Police are now appealing to the public for information. They are urging anyone who can help to identify the man to get in touch as soon as possible.
